The harp seal is knitted in the round, starting at the nose and working toward the tail. The fins are knitted separately and sewn on. I used sport weight yarn and size 3 needles, but you could go up to worsted or aran yarn if that’s what you have handy. You can keep it in a very tight gauge on 3’s or move up to a size 5 or 6 needle. Feel free to substitute whatever you have.
